• Do you believe that community leadership is not a position that one holds but rather the actions that anyone can take?
  • Do you believe that diversity is a source of strength that enables deep learning and sustains action?
  • Do you want to learn and work together with grassroots leaders from around the world?

If you answered yes to these questions, we invite you to apply for the 2022 Goldin Global Fellowship today.

Our current Global Network is comprised of grassroots leaders working in the areas of conflict resolution, poverty reduction, gender-based violence, environmental issues, and rights-based development. We are keen to hear from individuals working on a broad range of social justice issues.

The three requirements for participation are:

1. English Proficiency: the course requires participants to have basic English language skills, enough to be able to communicate in real time with international peers.

2. A 20-week commitment: the fellowship will require participation in weekly meetings each Friday at 8:00 AM Central time plus an average of 2 hours per week of learning and practice at your own pace over five months, starting on 20 June 2022 and running until 4 November 2022.

3. A desire to learn together: participants will join a network of peers who learn and work together in a global community of practice dedicated to community driven social change.

We believe that our diversity is a strength as it enables us to see and change the systems that impact our lives. We encourage applications from all genders, backgrounds, ages, and locations. We are particularly interested in receiving applications from countries or regions currently underrepresented within our network, which includes the Middle-East, South-East Asia, Europe, Central America, North and Western Africa, and the Australian Continent.

The 2022 Goldin Global Fellows will begin on 20 June 2022 and will meet weekly each Friday at 8:00 AM Central time [UTC−05:00] through 4 November 2022.  All applicants must be willing to commit to 3 - 4 hours per week dedicated to a mix of in-person weekly meetings and "at your own pace" learning on the GATHER Platform.
